ZteaM Cycling Announces Roster For 2008 Tour of
Pennsylvania, the World's Richest Espiors Race
9-Time Tour de France Rider Frankie Andreu to Serve as
Directeur Sportif

Calif. (June 2, 2008) - ZteaM Cycling has announced its
team to compete in the 2008 American Eagle Outfitters Tour
of Pennsylvania, the world's richest Espiors Race, June
24-29, 2008. ZteaM’s roster includes some of the top
riders in the country, including three USA U23 National
Team members, the 6th place finisher of the Tour of
Arkansas, and the 2006 Winner of Stage 5 of Tour de
L’Abitibi. The team will be led by 9-time Tour de France
rider Frankie Andreu as Directeur Sportif.
ZteaM is a national cycling club that supports masters,
elite, developmental and recreational cycling. ZteaM
Cycling’s elite squad is comprised of category 1 riders
who compete both regionally and at premier US NRC races.
More than 60 teams vied for entry into the Tour of
Pennsylvania, but ZteaM was one of only 20 teams chosen to
participate.
ZteaM’s squad for the 2008 Tour of Pennsylvania comprises:

Eric Riggs – A USA U23 National Team member,
Riggs captured Stage 3 of the 2008 Tour of Belize
(Belize 2.2), sixth place in the 2008 Mol (Belgium
1.12), and eleventh place in Stage 1 of the Tour du Haut
Anjou (France 2.2U). As a junior, he raced alongside
Adam Switters and Daniel Holloway and for two years, the
trio completely dominated Northern California junior
races.

Chad Beyer – Another USA U23 National Team
member, Beyer attended his first road national
championships in 2000. An emerging force in the cycling
world, Beyer earlier this year earned first place in the
Old Town Crit (Arizona). Last year, his accomplishments
included a third place finish in the Lennik (Belgium)
and in the Lago Vista (Texas) and a second place win in
the Cinco de Mayo Crit.

Shawn Rosenthal - Rosenthal has been focusing on
pursuing his degree at UC Davis and has been making 2008
a huge year in the process, winning the Conference RR
championships and the TTT at Collegiate Nationals. He
has finished collegiate racing and is now finding
success in USCF races including a 5th place at the last
two RR’s including Mount Hamilton and a 2nd place in
Dunlap TT. In 2005 he was the NCNCA TT champion (U23)
and in 2004 he won Sea Otter RR (Jrs).

Stefano Barberi –Barberi took 6th overall at the
2008 Mount Hood Cycling Classic, while in in 2007 he was
1st overall in the KOM competition. Born in Brazil, he
started mountain biking prior to moving to Florida in
1996, where he continued mountain bike racing and became
a two-time Florida State Champion. In 2003, he made the
switch to road racing.

Justin Laue – Laue pursued a successful triathlon
career including a 2nd place podium at Collegiate
Nationals and a spot on the 2007 USA Triathlon Worlds
Team at the University World Championships in Lausanne,
Switzerland. At the end of 2007, he decided to forgo
triathlons in favor of cycling.

Nate English – Up and coming Northern Californian
Nate English is the winner of this year’s Berkeley Hills
Road Race. He also earned first place in the 2008 San
Bruno Hill Climb, took fourth place in the 2008 Wente
Vineyards Road Race, and cycled his way to second place
in the 2007 Diablo Challenge.
Frankie Andreu will direct the team during the 6-day stage
race, which will be televised around the world on Versus.
Andreu is one of the most popular and well-respected names
in American professional cycling. He retired from racing
at the end of 2000 after a 12-year professional career.
During his racing career he competed in the Tour de France
nine times, represented the United States in two Olympic
games and once was captain of US Postal. Andreu is now a
commentator for Versus TV.
